Preheat oven to 200°C.  Line a baking tray with non-stick baking paper

Pesto Palmiers

  • 1 375 Gram Roll ready-rolled Puff Pastry, Thawed
  • 2 Tablespoons Pesto
  • 1 Handful Grated Parmesan Cheese

Pesto Parmesan Palmiers Directions

  1. Unroll the pastry and spread, like buttering bread, with the pesto.  Sprinkle with the parmesan.  Season with salt & freshly ground black pepper.  Roll each side (the long edges) into the middle.  Wrap in plastic film and chill in the freezer for at least 30 minutes to firm up

Recipe notes

Slice across the roll into 1 cm slices.  Place on the prepared tray.  Bake for 12 – 15 minutes until puffed and golden brown.  Serve warm
